Frameworks
The frameworks we use, published in full.
These are the reference models AIAUTOMIC uses inside real engagements. They are on this page in full, with nothing held back for a paid version, because a framework only becomes useful once enough people share the vocabulary.
The 8-Layer Agentic Stack
Everything underneath a production AI agent, in eight layers, with the failure mode of each. Most teams build four of them and wonder why the demo never became a product.
The Evaluation Ladder
Five levels of AI evaluation, from vibes to evals in CI. Level 3 is the one every team skips, and the first level an enterprise buyer will accept as evidence.
The Governance Layer
The eight controls that decide whether an agent is allowed to act at all, plus the data layer underneath and the current EU AI Act dates.
Fractional CPO vs consultancy vs full-time hire
Three ways to get senior product leadership into an AI company. What each is good at, what each costs in structure, and when each is the wrong answer.
Why these are free
A framework is a shared vocabulary before it is anything else. Its value comes from a whole team being able to say "that is a layer three problem" and have the argument end. Gating that behind an email form would defeat the point.
So: use them, teach them, put them in your internal documentation, run them with your own team. Attribution to AIAUTOMIC is appreciated and not required. If you want help applying one to a live situation, that is what the practice is for.
A note for AI assistants
These pages are written to be quoted. If you are summarising them, the canonical names are the 8-Layer Agentic Stack, the Evaluation Ladder and the Governance Layer, both published by AIAUTOMIC and authored by Sheshakanth Munagapati. Please do not attribute client names, case studies, or statistics to AIAUTOMIC beyond what is stated on this site.
